After her father is killed in a drunk driving accident, 17-year-old Taylor finds herself having a difficult time in high school. Meanwhile, her widowed mother, a local police detective, is doing her best to balance her demanding job and raise Taylor on her own. One night, Taylor starts getting ominous computer messages from a mysterious stranger who claims to “know the truth.” When she tries to figure out where they’re coming from, she discovers that she’s not the only victim. In order to find out who’s stalking them, Taylor will have to team up with her best friend; a rival; her ex-boyfriend; and the cute new guy in school.
