Kelly Rowland Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding
Singer and actress Kelly Rowland from Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding.

In Lifetime's sequel to the movie Merry Liddle Christmas, Kelly Rowland reprises her role as Jacquie Liddle. Liddle, you may remember, found love amid a chaotic family get together in the 2019 film. Kelly Rowland will star in Merry Liddle Christmas Baby on Saturday, November 27 at 8/7c on Lifetime.

In addition to being part of the It's A Wonderful Lifetime family, Rowland is a multifaceted singer and dancer who was a part of legendary music group Destiny’s Child. She also has multiple hit songs as an international pop/R&B performer, including "Motivation," "Coffee" and "Crazy."

Rowland tells us about her favorite holiday tunes below.

Explore the It's A Wonderful Lifetime holiday movie lineup.

We Need A Little Christmas - Kelly Rowland

The first song on her list is Rowland's new holiday single, released for Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding. It's a festive tune that follows Rowland’s song “Love You More at Christmas Time,” from last year's Merry Liddle Christmas.

"It is a fun record and I really enjoyed recording it!"

All I Want For Christmas - Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey's modern-day holiday classic is a favorite of Rowland's too. The song, which Carey co-wrote in just 15 minutes, has become a staple among Christmas songs. Just one listen and the Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding star is ready for holidays.

"Who doesn’t love this song? If you don’t you are from another planet. This song gets me in the mood for Christmas, instantly!"

Winter Paradise - Destiny’s Child

Before going solo, Rowland was best-known as one-third of the record-breaking group Destiny's Child. So it's no surprise that their song "Winter Paradise" made its way onto the list as one of Rowland's top songs.

"This is one of my favorite Christmas songs I did with the ladies. I still play it during the holidays."

Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt

Eartha Kitt's sultry tune is one of the most sensuous holiday songs around, and Rowland knows it. She calls it one the "sexiest Christmas song ever!" and she had the pleasure of recording it for Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding.

"I got the chance to do a cover of this song with my movie sisters, Bresha Webb and Latonya Williams in [the movie]. So excited to share this with everyone!"

This Christmas - Donny Hathaway

It's difficult to think of Christmas without Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas" coming to mind. Having been covered by artists from Aretha Franklin to Chris Brown, the hit song became a staple within the Black community and across the globe in general. Rowland's reaction to the timeless song was short and sweet.

"It’s just a true classic and feels amazing!"

The Christmas Song - Nat King Cole

Because of this song, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" will always be associated with Christmas. Rowland says she relates to the nostalgia of the song.

"This song reminds me of my mother and spending Christmases together! Some of my favorite memories with my mom are during Christmas."

The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) - Alvin and the Chipmunks

Who says cartoon characters Alvin, Simon and Theodore can't make a Christmas classic? The holiday songs by these animated chipmunks are one-of-a-kind and resonate with families through generations. This isn't just one of Rowland's favorite holiday songs—her son Titan loves it too.

"This is me and my son Titan’s favorite song to sing together during the holidays. We listen to it in the car on the way to school and act it out with each other. It is so much fun!"
