Edible Winter Wonderland

Ingredients

  • 6 large cereal treats
  • vanilla icing
  • green coconut flakes (coconut flakes mixed with a few drops of green food coloring)
  • gold luster dust
  • Small pretzel sticks
  • 3 mini powdered sugar donuts
  • chocolate
  • marshmallow cookies
  • marshmallows
  • orange frosting
  • candy eyes
  • chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 sheet of sponge cake
  • blue sour rope
  • blue frosting

Instructions

  • Shape the cereal treats into cones. Frost each cone with vanilla icing and sprinkle green coconut flakes. Finish them off with gold luster dust. Those will be your trees.
  • For the edible reindeer use 3 large cereal treats to make their bodies and 3 small pieces for their heads. Use 4 pretzel sticks on each large treat to add legs and chocolate antlers.
  • Connect the head and body using frosting and add a marshmallow to make a nose for each reindeer. Add candy eyes and don’t forget to use a red candy to give Rudolph his signature nose.
  • To make Frosty the Snowman, stack the mini powdered donuts on top of one another, using frosting to hold them together. Add a marshmallow cookie to give Frosty a hat. Use orange frosting for Frosty’s nose and add candy eyes. Use chocolate sprinkles for Frosty’s buttons and smile.
  • To create the winter wonderland, cover your favorite sponge cake with vanilla frosting. Spread evenly.
  • Outline the cake with marshmallows. Then, decorate the top by making a marshmallow igloo with a candy path. Use blue sour rope to make an icy pond. Add the Christmas trees, reindeer and Frosty. Outline the pond with blue frosting to complete your delicious winter wonderland!
