Versatile young star, B.J. Britt is rising to the top of his game. This North Carolina native, who got his start studying theatre arts, is often recognized for his longest role to date – “Devon” of the CW’s One Tree Hill – a character he played for seven years. Additionally, Britt has appeared in several hit television series, including “The Vampire Diaries,” “Bones” and “Sons of Anarchy.” Currently starring in the 3rd season of BET’s romantic comedy, “Being Mary Jane,” his lead role as “Paul Jr.” is as different as can be from his other recent series, ABC’s “Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” in which he played agent, “Triplett”.
In addition to his work in television, Britt has also appeared on the big screen, which film credits including Jason Friedberg’s and Aaron Seltzer’s 20th Century Fox spoof and box office success, “Vampires Suck,” which was based on the Twilight film series.
Next up for B.J. is his exciting lead role in UnREAL, where he will portray the first African American suitor on the reality dating competition show, “Everlasting.”
When he’s not acting, B.J. can be found visiting his family, playing football and basketball or volunteering with underprivileged children and the homeless.
