After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Apparel Design, Mila started her career in fashion at Calvin Klein. While in New York, she also gained valuable experience consulting for other design houses as well as fashion trend forecasting publications, and eventually started costuming films.
Mila's interest in costuming for television and film eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she is now based. Her credits include "Fast 8," "Twin Peaks," "Star Trek Beyond Darkness," "Tron: Legacy," "Glee," "Nip/Tuck," "Alias," and "Austin Powers." Since her appearances as a finalist on "Project Runway" Season 7 and on "Project Runway All Stars," Mila launched her eponymous label of bridge contemporary sportswear, which was sold in stores internationally, but she continues to pursue her 20-year career as a costume designer.
