This summer, the heat will reach a blistering high as Lifetime Movie Network debuts the movie adaptation of Ann Rule’s best-selling novel, Too Late to Say Goodbye. Rob Lowe (The West Wing, Brothers and Sisters) is set to headline in the project based on the true story of an outwardly charming couple whose deceit and secret affairs result in fatal consequences. Too Late to Say Goodbye will premiere this August on Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime’s sister network and the second highest rated women’s channel.

Too Late to Say Goodbye is the story of Jenn and Bobby Corbin(Lowe); a couple who appear to have the perfect marriage. Wedded bliss, though, is not always what it seems, as Jenn discovers Bobby’s affair with a beautiful co-worker. Distraught, Jenn turns to the Internet, where she makes a connection with a charming mystery man. When Jenn is found dead – apparently the result of a devastating suicide – her loving sister insists that Jenn would never have willingly taken her own life and left her children without their mother. Could the killer be her husband, who has some dark secrets of his own, or possibly her online suitor, who may not be exactly the person Jenn had imagined?

Rob Lowe rose to fame in the early 1980s as a member of the legendary “Brat Pack,” starring in such contemporary classics as St. Elmo’s Fire and About Last Night. He headlined some of the decade’s most iconic films including The Outsiders and Youngblood. In 1999, he landed the role of “Sam Seaborn” on the popular television series The West Wing, for which he earned an Emmy® Award nomination and two Golden Globe® nominations. Currently, Lowe stars on the popular ABC series Brothers and Sisters.
