The movie “New Year’s Eve” premiered in Los Angeles and since it has “ensemble cast”, there were at least 5,000 celebrities at the event.

Usually, these types of movies aren’t exactly Oscar winners, but they do provide some serious eye candy on the red carpet.

Lots of hair and makeup looks to peruse. What are your thoughts?

It seems like every time we turn around, another beauty savvy celebrity has fashioned their hair into a top knot. And, quite honestly, we don’t like it! It kind of looks like someone plopped an apple fritter on top of your head while they ran off to go get a cup of hot cider.

Why has this trend taken off the way it has? And more importantly, how do you feel about it?

Fergie? Is that you? Well, the one on the right is the real Fergie anyway - she's hamming it up with her wax figure look-alike at Madame Tussauds in Vegas.

In any case, it looks like the stylish singer has traded in her long locks for a girlie bob. It’s funny how a hairstyle can determine how you dress – with the longer hair, she was all “futuristic Barbie” and now she’s got a retro Marilyn Monroe thing going on. Unless
