Celebrity makeup artist — and Lorac founder — Carol Shaw shares how she achieved Scarlett Johansson's sultry, smoky eye for Spike TV's 5th annual TV Awards:
"To give Scarlett’s skin a creamy, flawless finish, I primed with aquaPRIME for long-lasting, silky-smooth makeup. Next, I applied Breakthrough Performance Foundation all over and used Double Feature Concealer to lighten and brighten under her eyes. To set and perfect, I used a little Translucent Touchup Powder.
For the eyes, I first primed with Behind The Scenes Eye Primer for long-lasting, velvety-smooth, stay-true color. I used Sand Eye Shadow to highlight from brow to lash. On her eyes I used our Superstar Baked Eye Shadow Trio, dusting the gold on the lid and the dark bronze in the crease. I used Black Eye Shadow in the crease, outer corner and blended out for the soft winged effect. For added definition, I used Front Of The Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner along the top lash line. I then finished with a couple of layers of 3D Lashes Mascara for a dramatic look.
To achieve that red-carpet glow, I used Perfectly Lit Luminizing Powder to highlight her cheekbones and capture the light. Then I applied TANtalizer Baked Bronzer for a natural bronze glow.
Scarlett’s lips are so luscious and full that I did not need to use lip pencil. Instead, I applied Breakthrough Performance Lipstick in Nude Scene and then added a couple of coats of Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Vintage for a perfect, glossy Nude lip.
To finish, I applied LORAC’s new selfTANtalizer with the applicator mitt for a fast, easy, mess-free, streak-free application all over her body. It instantly gave her a natural, rich tan."
