Jemma Kidd's easy-yet-effective transitional beauty tricks:

1. Use radiance cream under foundation. This is more subtle than when you dab it on top as a highlighter.

2. Don’t try to cover very pale skin with a darker foundation — match to your natural skin tone and add color with blush. Peach tones give a sunkissed radiance to the skin.

3. Use a tint or cream blush in a natural fresh pink, so that your cheeks look as though you’ve pinched them — use very little product to start with and build up the color gradually.
