Recreate January Jones' striking, retro-inspired look from Sunday's Golden Globes with these expert tips & tricks:

The Hair: Strong & Smooth

Stylist Renato Campora explains: "I was inspired by the styles of the 1960’s, which I believe is one of the most striking decades for beauty. This look channels old Hollywood glamor, with a modern twist that is full of volume and timeless elegance.

On wet hair, I began by applying Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip to create volume and Fekkai Coiff Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm to smooth. I then parted the hair to the side and blow dried using a round brush.

Next, to create waves, I put January's hair in hot rollers and let them sit for 10 minutes. Once removed, I brushed through the hair to create volume and help to construct shape for the style. To finish her look, I misted Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray for all night hold. "

The Makeup: Supermodel Strong

Makeup artist Rachel Goodwin explains: "January's look was all about strength - there was nothing demure about it! I wanted to go for a super strong brow, and a high gloss red lip. 90's supermodel meets old Hollywood glamour!

The makeup was simple with two strong elements. I prepped her skin with CHANEL Sublimage Concentrate. I then sculpted her cheeks with CHANEL Bronzing Makeup Base.

On her lids, I used a wash of champagne colored shadow, CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Liberty. I created a strong, bold defined brow with the CHANEL Perfect Brows palette, and applied two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir.

Finally, I knew I wanted to go for a glossy red lip as opposed to a matte red, to keep the look fresh and not too retro. I used an amazing red gloss, CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Excess, to complete January’s strong red carpet look."

Celebrity stylist Renato Campora shares a step-by-step guide to achieving Evan Rachel Wood's sultry, retro-inspired waves:

1. Start by applying Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip to create soft volume and texture.

2. Part the hair on one side (as I've done on Evan Rachel, above) and use a round brush to blow-dry the hair.

3. Use a one-inch curling iron to refine the waves, then brush the hair out to achieve a glamorous, fresh feeling.

4. Finish with Fekkai Salon Technician Color Care Anti-Fade Top Coat for added shine, and a mist of Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hair Spray to hold hair in place.
