"I think, 'See this little dimple of cellulite here? It was so worth for that cookies 'n' cream ice cream!' If I was stuck on a diet my whole life I would be really miserable. I love to eat. If you can't enjoy your life then what's the point? You can't torture yourself."

'I'm too fat for fashion... It is ridiculous. I went to a designer the other day — who will remain nameless — and he said to me: "I’m amazed that you’re fitting into these sample sizes..." The only way that I could ever be a size 6 [UK, 4 US] is if I didn’t eat. I’m not naturally meant to be that size... All I can do, I think, is try to look good. I have things made for me so they fit.'

Gemma Arterton tells London's Daily Mail.

According to The Huffington Post, BeautifulPeople.com— an international dating website— recently deleted over 5,000 of its members based on users' complaints that they'd gained too much weight over the holiday season.

"As a business, we mourn the loss of any member, but the fact remains that our members demand the high standard of beauty be upheld," site founder Robert Hintze told the BBC. "Letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded."

What do you think of BeautifulPeople.com's decision to delete any/all they deem too voluptuous?
