ScarJo recently brought even more sizzle (if that’s possible) to the recent Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2012 show by making a va-va-voom entrance to the event. The 26-year-old actress - who is the face of the designer’s cosmetics line, arrived with a makeup look created by Pat McGrath.

Here’s how to get the look using Dolce&Gabbana The Make Up:

On the apples of Scarlett’s cheeks Pat used a light sweeping of the Blush in Rosebud, and on Scarlett’s cheekbones, a hint of the Illuminator in Eva which created definition and radiance.

For the eyes, Pat used the EyeshadowQuad in Femme Fatale, a colour palette including slightly shimmery neutral tones; she began using the palest shade as a base for the eyes, and then built on this using the two mid tones. Finally, she applied the darkest shade right in the sockets of Scarlett’s eyes to create subtle definition. A touch of the Eyeliner Black and Coffee on the top of the eye lids created added depth to the look.

Finally on the lips Pat used the new Passion Duo lipsticks mixing twoshades; Infatuation and Incognito to create a full and sensuallip. On Scarlett’s nails the Nail Lacquer in Pink was used to finish the overall look.

“This season, we took inspiration from our Sicilian heritage, and the art of traditional tailoring — sartorialità,” says Domenico Dolce. “The beauty look is all about modern feminine perfection, with impeccably pure, detailed touches, like the stained lip,” adds Stefano Gabbana.

Recreate the look with this step-by-step guide, courtesy of makeup artist Pat McGrath:

First, Pat used Dolce & Gabbana The Foundation Perfect Finish Powder Foundation to create a perfected canvas. Next, she applied Dolce & Gabbana The Blush Luminous Cheek Colour in Provocative and Rose on cheeks for a feminine glow.

On the eyes, Pat blended the taupe shadow from Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Smooth Colour Quad in Nude onto eyelids, up to the brow. She then created a slight wing along the upper eyelid with Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeliner Crayon Intense in Black. Next, Pat lined the inner eyelid with Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeliner Crayon Intense in Nude. The inner eye corners, center eyelids, and cupid’s bow were highlighted with the pearl shimmer from the Dolce & Gabbana The Eyeshadow Smooth Colour Quad in Golds. To complete the eye look, Pat defined lashes with Dolce & Gabbana The Mascara Voluminized Lashes in Black.

To achieve the models' stained, red lips, Pat blotted them with a mix of Dolce & Gabbana The Lipstick Classic Cream Lipstick in Devil and Ultra, and then applied Dahlia to the center of the lips.

Off the Runway: Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010 RTW

Superartist Pat McGath paid hommage to Dolce & Gabbana's Sicilian roots at their Spring/Summer 2010 RTW show in Milan, earlier today. Creating a bold, retro-inspired look that's as wearable now as it will be next season.

“This season our inspiration stemmed from the passionate Latin woman melded with our Sicilian upbringing,” said Domenico Dolce. Stefano Gabbana added, “The cultures are very similar and we wanted the beauty look to be reflective of this passion and sensuality.”

Backstage McGrath prepped skin with The Foundation, to create a flawlessly natural canvas. Next, she sculpted cheeks using The Blush in Warm.

On the eyes, McGrath blended a taupe shadow from The Eyeshadow Quad in Elegance along the crease and lower lids. Using a damp brush, she then applied the white shimmer shadow from The Eyeshadow Duo in Rose along the upper lips close to lashes. To complete the eye look, multiple coats of The Mascara, in Black, were brushed through top lashes.

To create an alluring pout, McGrath noted that she wanted to create, “a rich, velvet, red shade.” To achieve a deep burgundy red, McGrath painted lips with a mix of The Classic Lipstick in Devil, Dahlia, and Ultra.
