Farrah Fawcett: Hair Icon

Sexy and fashion-forward, Farrah Fawcett's hair was, perhaps, her most distinctive attribute.

And though her signature layered look was created over 30 years ago, it's a hairstyle that keeps coming back, as it provides the two things we crave most — volume and movement.

The late actress's original "Charlie's Angels" coif was created by Los Angeles stylist Allen Edwards, "I invented a way to do it without rollers," he said. Farrah's iconic hairstyle was also a driving force behind the modern blow-drying. "I used a roller brush, dried her hair 85 percent and clipped it away from her face," said Edwards. "Run your fingers through it after it dries, and there's the Farrah."

Have you ever experimented with a "Farrah"?
