Seen here on the set of her new show "The Wonderful Maladys" in NYC, Sarah Michelle Gellar appears to have lightened her look for the role.

Personally, I don't find this monotone color and matte finish to be flattering. And what's up with those roots? Perhaps Sarah is just being cautious but, if that's the case, there are more suitable shades of blonde she could choose.
