Just when you think you've seen it all, an innovative makeup artist appears to challenge our concept of beauty.

The Cassette Society's Spring/Summer '09 show proved to be one of these defining moments, with the models' bold look having little to do with heavy makeup or wild hairstyles. Instead, their slicked-back updos and pale faces were paired with dark, gemstone-encrusted brows.

It's a futuristic look that's better suited to the runway than real life, but one to take note of nonetheless.
