Get the Look: Mila Kunis' Elegant Updo

Posted by babu 12:27pm GMT

Mila Kunis looked absolutely amazing at last night's LA premiere of "The Book of Eli." Below, TRESemmé celebrity stylist Mara Roszak shares how to recreate her show-stopping style (for under $10!):

Step One: Create Volume

Apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to towel-dried hair, and blow dry using a medium-sized boar bristle round brush.

Step Two: Tease Your Tresses
Part hair in the middle, and gently tease the crown. Separate the front and crown sections of hair from the rest. Using an elastic, pull the remaining hair into a medium height ponytail, and secure.

Step Three: Pony Up
Take the left front section, and gently pull back and twist around the base of the pony. Take the same section from the opposite side, and follow the same step. Tuck ends underneath the pony, and secure with bobby pins.

Step Four: Laminate Your Locks
Curl the ends of the ponytail under with a 1 1/4” barrel curling iron. To add shine, distribute TRESemmé No-Frizz Shine Spray all over holding it an arms length away from the head.

Smart Ways to Save on Hair Care

According to reports, "one-third of women [in the U.K.] would prefer to eat less than cut their beauty spending."

Of course, this study was conducted before the world economy took a tumble. Whether you're residing in a prestigious penthouse or living with multiple roommates in a suburb somewhere, the current state of things has likely changed the way you spend your beauty funds.

Lucky for our locks, however, cutting costs doesn't have to mean sacrificing style or hair health. Swapping products, at-home treatments, and extending salon-styled 'dos are all great ways to be frugally fabulous.
