The blogosphere is abuzz with the news that Angelina Jolie was caught applying lip gloss in public — gasp! — at this year's Golden Globes.

According to recent reports, the analysis of a single hair can reveal where a person is from and where they've been.

Through the use of a laser, we're now able to examine the slight variations in a strand of human hair to map everything from dietary and lifestyle changes to whether/when a person has ever traveled.
