Since her switch to blonde this past September, Katharine McPhee has been experimenting with every short hairstyle under the sun (or snow). With each red carpet event, a new look.

Finally, we see Katharine McPhee's new blonde 'do in color.

I'm not a big fan of the mature cut or choice of color, but Katharine's killer pairing of magenta lipstick and liquid eyeliner save the look. (In my opinion, anyway!)

First Lindsay. Then Britney. Now... Katharine?

The singer's unexpected transformation comes courtesy of stylist Peter Savic, who took inspiration from Katharine's upcoming album, "Unbroken."

“My music is a little more edgy so that inspired me to be adventurous,” She tells People. “I’ve never dyed my hair before so this was a pretty drastic change. I’ve always been known as a brunette but I’ve been thinking about it for a long time and it kind of just fit with all of the searching with the music and experimenting that I would do the same thing with my look.”

The stars of "The House Bunny" attended a special CosmoGIRL screening of their new film at The Hearst Tower in New York City on Tuesday night, with each actress showcasing a different 'do.

Emma Stone was vibrant in red, Rumer Willis went for a more dark and mysterious look, while Anna Faris opted for bold blonde bangs and Katharine McPhee wore her hair in a romantic updo.
