Style Showdown: "American Idol's" Adam Lambert vs. Kris Allen

"American Idol" may be a singing contest, but it's been said that a hopeful's hair can also play a role in determining their success. And the styles of season eight's two remaining contestants couldn't be more different.

Which look wins your vote for Best Tressed?

Borat Burned by Bleach

Posted by babu 6:55pm GMT

J. Vespa/WireImage

According to recent reports, Sacha Baron Cohen is not a fan of bleaching body hair.

"He'd heard that all-over hairlessness is a popular trend in the gay community, so he thought he'd bleach all his hair so it looked invisible. But it quickly turned into a disaster."

Apparently, the comedian (famous for his Ali-G and Borat characters) suffered an all-over reaction and couldn't sit for days!

Let this serve as a lesson for those who are considering a walk on the lighter side— bleach is not dye, nor does it create "all-over hairlessness."

Poor Sacha. Hopefully he's now recovered and able to make full use of his tush.

Adrien Brody's Blue Streak: Love It or Hate It?

Posted by babu 2:11pm GMT

Jim Spellman/WireImage

Pictured here at the Cinema Society Screening of "The Brothers Bloom," Adrien Brody appears to be a bit blue — in the hair, that is.

It's not my favorite look for the actor but, as far as colorful streaks go, they're not too terrible. Perhaps he's gone blue for an upcoming role?

What do you think of Adrien's latest look?

Prince Harry's Dirty Little Secret

Posted by babu 6:57pm GMT

Samir Hussein/WireImage

Umm, so... According to The Telegraph, Prince Harry hasn't washed his hair in over two years. (?!)

Now for the "no pooers" out there, I'm sure this statement just confirms that shampooing is but a habit. For those of us who love to lather, on the other hand, 728 days without a proper cleanse is... well, mad.

In the end, it all comes down to one's hair type/texture and personal preference. But what about a significant other? Would a resistance to shampoo be a relationship deal-breaker for you?

Prince Harry's recent confession...

Style Showdown: Paul Rudd vs. Jason Segel

Posted by babu 3:00pm GMT

Dave Hogan/Getty Images

Pictured here at a private screening of "I Love You Man" in London, the film's stars went for very different looks.

Paul Rudd's style is quite sharp and clean cut, while Jason Segel's hair is surprisingly longer than the last time he hit the red carpet.

I think Paul's hairstyle is more handsome, but which comedian's cut do you like most?

How Do You Take Your Men?

Posted by babu 5:21pm GMT

George Pimentel/WireImage, Zodiac/Fapian/ Splash News, Amy Sussman/Getty Images

Bald? With long locks? Is a man's hair (or lack thereof) a deciding factor for you?

Personally, I'm always a little weirded out when I encounter a man with hair longer than mine (shoulder-length or below). I also find a longer look, like McDreamy's, only suits a small number of men over a certain age. The majority of the time, it just seems like they're trying to hold on to their youth and/or hide a bald spot.

A shaved or short(er) style, however, is a sign of confidence in my books and a look I've come to love. There's just something so masculine about it.

What length do you like most for a man?
