Kim Kardashian was spotted out and about in NYC this weekend, sporting a dramatically different 'do. And, in true Kardashian style, the reality TV star took to her Twitter page to discuss her transformation (repeatedly).

I'm all for switching things up, but blonde wouldn't be my first choice for Kim's complexion and natural coloring. A few subtle highlights, maybe, but this full-on, caramel-coated coif looks rather ... synthetic.

Seen here at the Y3 and Tracy Reese Fall/Winter '09 shows, it appears that Kim Kardashian is taking full advantage of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week by switching her style for each and every camera op.

On Sunday, the former reality TV star was spotted in straight hair and parted bangs (L), while today's look is all about movement and shape (R).

Kim Kardashian debuted this new 'do at a recent charity event in NYC, and I can't decide whether her bangs are a bold statement or a big mistake.

What puts me off isn't the overall effect, but the length of her fringe. It detracts from Kim's eyes which, I think, is her most striking feature (though some may argue otherwise!).

On the flip side, it's a rather flirtatious look and makes her face seem slimmer/more sculptural...

I can't decide!
