Yes, I know ... another Katie Holmes post. But what can I do? The girl is always trying something new!

Here she is, for instance, en route to rehearsals for her upcoming Broadway show, "All My Sons." Now some might hate on that rather odd-looking hat she's wearing, but I'm going to have to go out on a limb and admit I actually like it. Yes, there – I said it. I think it's quite charming.

I find it to be a refreshing change (in a world where fedoras seem to be the only hats in existence), it hides that dreadful cut and it also frames her face quite nicely. My only critique would be that it's come a season too early, as it's much too steamy in NYC at the moment to be sporting such a heavy hat. But, then again, she's not one to follow the rules ...

The stars of "The House Bunny" attended a special CosmoGIRL screening of their new film at The Hearst Tower in New York City on Tuesday night, with each actress showcasing a different 'do.

Emma Stone was vibrant in red, Rumer Willis went for a more dark and mysterious look, while Anna Faris opted for bold blonde bangs and Katharine McPhee wore her hair in a romantic updo.

I'm partial to Emma's classic side-part and rich color, but whose hair do you think deserves the Most Beautiful Bunny title?

Katie Holmes has spent the past few years reinventing herself. From teen idol to celebrity mom, fashion victim to shopaholic, and TV to film (and now Broadway), she's almost become unrecognizable...
In persona and appearance.

One of the first things to go, post-Tom, were her signature long locks. Katie decided to try a more sophisticated bob and, I think, the bold move paid off. She looked edgy yet elegant. But it seems that was only the beginning, as she's recently gone and cropped it all off. Sigh.

I think this is one of those instances where less isn't more, it's just less... A lot less.

What do you think of Katie's shorter new 'do, love it or hate it?

I adore Keira Knightley and consider myself to be a lifetime addict of Vogue (be it American, French or Italian), but this cover is simply... Off.

Their September issue is usually powerful, provocative and grand, but this attempt (or lack thereof) is none of those things. It's quite the opposite, really.

September '08 seems to miss the mark in so many areas. Keira's hair (!), her makeup, that backdrop... If it weren't for the bold Balenciaga separates, I might have mistaken this magazine for another publication.
