Current Obsession: Kirsten Dunst's Dazzling 'Do

Posted by babu 12:56pm GMT

We've seen loads of retro-inspired looks walk the red carpet at this year's Cannes Film Festival, but Kirsten's bejeweled updo may just be my favorite.

It's a classic look, but the matte, textured finish adds an unexpected — and brilliant — twist. (Don't you think??)

Spring's Hottest Hair Accessories

Posted by babu 5:46pm GMT

Earl/Clements/Splash News

Three top trends to try this season:

Sheer Pleasure
From Maison Michel's mouse ears (modeled by Lady Gaga, above) to delicate headbands made of tulle and chiffon, budoir-inspired accents are all the rage for spring.

School Girl Chic
The bigger the bow, the better. Think: "Blair Waldorf" meets Marc by Marc Jacobs or Luella.

Guilded Locks
Vintage-inspired gold broaches, hair clips and barrettes add refinement to the season's textured styles.

Black Tie
Take your look to the next level with the addition of an L.B.H. (Little Black Headband). Whether in satin, feathers or even leather, it's a classic accessory that works with virtually any hairstyle or ensemble.

Will you be experimenting with hair accessories this season?

threeASFOUR sent their take on a traditional hairnet down the runway this week and, I have to say, I don't mind it.

It's not exactly an everyday (or any day) look, but it works really well with the model's makeup and coloring— don't you think?
