Earlier today, Cate Blanchett received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her many achievements in film and theatre. And we'd also like to take a moment to induct her into the (be it imaginary) HTS Hall of Fame for the romantic updo she wore to the ceremony. Her stylist is a genius...

They couldn't have chosen a more feminine or elegant style to compliment Cate's nautical suit (which was a little odd for fall, but beautiful none the less) and delicate facial structure. There was also a subtle nod to Katherine Hepburn, and I think it worked wonderfully.

Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller hit the 2008 British Independent Film Awards recently, each with their own unique look.

Sienna opted for a voluminous, yet youthful, updo, while Keira chose to compliment her couture with soft, tousled waves and side-swept bangs.

Christina Aguilera attended a book party for Matthew Rolston's 'BeautyLIGHT' last night in Los Angeles, looking... a little less than polished.

I admire Christina's love of the experimental, but this look has me wondering if she's of right mind. Her locks are brittle/over-processed, brutally cut and badly styled. Someone should inform her stylist that the days of stiff hairspray and monotone blonde are out.

My Rx for Xtina would be a series of intensive glossing (and hydrating) treatments, multi-tonal highlights, and longer, softer bangs.

How would you fix Christina's current hair crisis?

Cameron Diaz has had quite the Hairvolution- Starting with that fun, super short bob (which put her on the map), then a brief stint as a brunette, to finally find herself in a classic, side-parted shagg that's become as signature as her all-consuming smile.

More recently, Cameron's been seen sporting a major fall trend- sleek, straight hair. I personally love this new look, but find it ages her just a bit. I think the blonde, wavy style she's had for the past few years is my favorite of all (boring, but true!)...

Which of Cameron's looks do you love most?

Yes, her body looks as though it's never seen the bottom of a tub of Ben & Jerry's. And her makeup is classic and as natural looking as covers come. I can even (well, almost) get past the cardigan/bikini combination. But that hair?!

Faith Hill is an undeniably gorgeous woman, but this stiff, voluminous puff on her head looks overly styled (and overly processed). It's not exactly the cover look I'd imagine for a country/crossover star ...

It's such a shame, really, because she looks like she's in her prime from the scalp down ... But that coif is all I can see.

It's official, y'all, Britney's back – and sporting her signature array of wacky wigs.

In
her new video, "Womanizer," the mother of two rocks her hair au naturel
(well, with extensions and a good amount of product), teased and
tousled, and in a low ponytail, and also experiments with a racy red wig as well as a cropped brunette cut. All in 3 minutes and 54 seconds of film.

Personally,
I prefer Brit's classic wet and messy look to the over-the-top wigs,
but their presence means that the days of her pink piece/overdyed
hair/bad plugs (a la "Gimme More") are behind us. And that's quite the silver lining...

Dear Ms. Price,

Did you choose not to read your international press from the Emmys? If so, I understand, but seriously – for your own good – step away from the random red headbands! You're just making it much too easy to question your sanity. Aside from your unique taste in fashion and hair accessories, you're an attractive woman. So please do us all a favor and hire a respectable set of stylists to help revive your (once existent?) acting career.

When seeking out this new team of stylists, perhaps you'd like to also introduce them to your friend Bobby Trendy. His choice of hairstyles and hats leaves one wondering what he's using (and whether it's legal).
