Wallflower is not a term I'd use to describe model Agyness Deyn, who's quickly become a household name with her striking blonde locks and controversial fashion sense... Fearless is more like it.

Pictured here out and about during London Fashion Week, Agyness chose to accent her 'suited dominatrix' outfit with a '20s inspired hair accessory.
Normally, I'd be the first to critique such a combination, but I actually quite like the shape of this hat with her latest (more angular) cut. It's fun, unique, and fashion-forward.

And in a time where everyone seems to mindlessly follow the crowd, it’s refreshing to see someone succeed at creating their own look.

Friday's VH1 Fashion Rocks celebration had stars like Beyoncé Knowles, Charlize Theron and Fergie walking the red carpet with gorgeous, look-at-me locks. Tyra Banks also had an eye-catching look, but not for the reasons one would hope...

The Emmy Award–winning talk show host went for voluminous curls (with what seems like multiple cans of hairspray and head full of extensions), but ended up with a stiff, overly teased do that looked like it swallowed the stylist who created it.

They won an Olympic Gold Medal for their skills on the court, but do Venus and Serena make the cut when it comes to their hair?

I think that they've each succeeded in finding a functional look that expresses their personal sense of style, which can't be easy when competing next to your sibling! Both ladies also have healthy-looking, lustrous hair, and that's a major accomplishment for an athlete, as their tresses can take a good deal of abuse during those years of rigorous training. All things considered, I'd give the Williams sisters the [Hair's the Scoop] gold.

Yes, I know ... another Katie Holmes post. But what can I do? The girl is always trying something new!

Here she is, for instance, en route to rehearsals for her upcoming Broadway show, "All My Sons." Now some might hate on that rather odd-looking hat she's wearing, but I'm going to have to go out on a limb and admit I actually like it. Yes, there – I said it. I think it's quite charming.

I find it to be a refreshing change (in a world where fedoras seem to be the only hats in existence), it hides that dreadful cut and it also frames her face quite nicely. My only critique would be that it's come a season too early, as it's much too steamy in NYC at the moment to be sporting such a heavy hat. But, then again, she's not one to follow the rules ...

Katie Holmes has spent the past few years reinventing herself. From teen idol to celebrity mom, fashion victim to shopaholic, and TV to film (and now Broadway), she's almost become unrecognizable...
In persona and appearance.

One of the first things to go, post-Tom, were her signature long locks. Katie decided to try a more sophisticated bob and, I think, the bold move paid off. She looked edgy yet elegant. But it seems that was only the beginning, as she's recently gone and cropped it all off. Sigh.

I think this is one of those instances where less isn't more, it's just less... A lot less.

What do you think of Katie's shorter new 'do, love it or hate it?

I adore Keira Knightley and consider myself to be a lifetime addict of Vogue (be it American, French or Italian), but this cover is simply... Off.

Their September issue is usually powerful, provocative and grand, but this attempt (or lack thereof) is none of those things. It's quite the opposite, really.

September '08 seems to miss the mark in so many areas. Keira's hair (!), her makeup, that backdrop... If it weren't for the bold Balenciaga separates, I might have mistaken this magazine for another publication.

Celebrity ink artist, television personality, and now beauty brand designer, Kat Von D was recently snapped sporting a new, contrasting do in NYC.

I think the blonde makes it seems as though she’s wearing a terrible set of extensions. The lighter ends also highlight the damaged areas of her hair and age her a little as well (she’s only 26). I much prefer the softer, brunette shade she had previously; it complemented her dramatic features without overpowering them.

What do you think? Am I mad, or should Kat see a colorist asap?

Maria Bello went for a wild (yet well-executed) half-updo at the American premiere of "The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor" in Los Angeles yesterday.

I’m personally a big fan of this look on Maria. It gives her normally limp locks a boost in volume and texture, and the overall effect is glamorous without being too stiff. It also compliments the neckline of her dress quite nicely.

Eva Longoria showcased a newly cropped 'do at the Alma Nominations on Monday afternoon.

I'm not sure how I feel about this new look, on one hand it's very sophisticated and refined, and on the other it ages her a bit and takes away that playfulness she's famous for.

Mind you, we don't know how short her hair actually was, as Eva's always been a (very successful) fan of hair extensions and clip-in pieces. Perhaps she's only had a trim...

I don’t know if I’m loving this particular hair accessory on the tennis champion, it seems a bit too childish. Especially in that color and finish...
