"He’s Just Not That Into You" Hair Highlights

The stars of the highly anticipated romantic-guide-turned-movie, "He's Just Not That Into You," walked the red carpet last night— each with a surprising new do.

Drew kept with her recent retro-inspired look and pulled everything back into a polished ponytail, Jennifer Aniston wore a ponytail as well (just when we thought she was updo-phobic...), Ginnifer Goodwin looked gorgeous in tousled waves, and Scarlett Johansson went board-straight and brunette for the big event.

Which leading lady's look do you like best?

2009 SAG Awards: Which Star Wins "Best Tressed"?

There was no shortage of hair hits and misses at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards, with stars showcasing an array of intricate updos and voluminous waves.

As you can see above, America chose an elegant half-updo (a pleasant surprise), Angelina went slightly pin crazy, Eva opted for a conservative coif, Kyra showed off her signature, shoulder-length waves, Claire revealed her romantic side and Taraji played it safe with a classic, side-parted bob.

Each look holds its own unique appeal, but Claire's updo is the one that inspires me most. There's just something about a soft, effortless (-looking) updo that gets me every time...

Who do you think was the 'best-tressed' of the night?

Get the Look: Sandra Bullock's Side-Swept Updo

How beautiful did Sandra Bullock look at The Globes? Her romantic, side-swept hair was both alluring and age-appropriate.

Celebrity stylist Jeanie Syfu was the mastermind behind Sandra's 'undone' bun, and below she shares her secrets for achieving this look:

First, start off by blow-drying your hair with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray to protect and add shine.

Next, curl pieces your hair using a 1" curling iron, alternating with a 1/2" curling iron to create an "S" wave pattern throughout your tresses.

Once texture is created, work in TRESemmé Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Crème through your hair to add shine and definition.

Finally, part your hair off to the side, and pull into a low bun just behind the ear, leaving a few soft waves to frame the face.

And that's it!

Get the Look: Angelina Jolie's Golden Globes Style

Posted by babu 3:57pm GMT

I loved Angelina Jolie's easy, yet elegant, Golden Globes style so much, that I've asked celebrity stylist David Babaii to let us in on exactly how he achieved her look:

First, you'll need three simple tools: A blow dryer, round brush and his signature Bohemian Beach Spray.

After blow-drying Angelina's hair with his David Babaii for WildAid Blow Dryer and a round brush, David took large sections, twisting the ends around the brush and spraying each with his Bohemian Beach Spray.

Using the dryer's low speed, he gave each section a blast of warm air to set.

After cooling, the section was gently unwrapped from the brush and additional Bohemian Beach Spray was scrunched in to give volume and lift. And that's it!

The result is a timeless look that's never overdone or unnatural, and is an easy addition to your everyday routine.

Who do you think rocked the red carpet at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards?

Which Celeb Transformation Tops Your List for 2008?

From Britney's comeback coiff to Drew's blonde ambition, 2008 has been full of celebrity hair transformations. But what marks this year for me is the number of stars that chose to cut it all off. Hayden Panettiere, Liv Tyler, Heidi Klum, Reese Witherspoon... You name it, they cropped it.

Some of the most notable new looks from this year include Gwyneth Paltrow's dramatic 'do, Posh's pixie, Anne Hathaway's mid-length cut, Hilary Swank's androgynous style, and Eva Longoria Parker's classic bob. Each was quite a departure, but turned out to be a risk that continues to pay-off big.

Who looked best with a little less hair in '08?

Helena Bonham Carter May Be Eccentric...

... But that doesn't mean that small animals should be able to nest in her hair.

What was once a lustrous, bittersweet chocolate 'do, is now an over-processed, frizzy mess that's in desperate need of a stylist. And what's that random ribbon in her hair? Mrs. Burton has me quite confused.

What's the first thing you'd fix for Helena?

Some Things Just Keep Getting Better with Age

While some stars have allowed their hair to become brittle, over processed or out-of-date, Kate Winslet has been perfecting her cut and color.

Seen here at the premiere of her new film "Revolutionary Road", Kate looks even better than during the "Titanic" era (which can't be said for Leonardo DiCaprio, with whom she co-stars again). Her locks are shiny and smooth, curls perfectly placed and the choice of color is both bold and beautiful.

And did you see her recent Vanity Fair cover? Wow.

Khloe Kardashian's PETA Coiff: Love It or Hate It?

Posted by babu 5:58pm GMT

Source: Jose Perez/Splash News

Kim's little sister strips off in this new anti-fur advertisement for animal rights' group, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). And though I'm all for expressing yourself and supporting a good cause, I'm also all about great hair. And this look... Misses the mark in that area. I think a soft, tousled style would have complimented her natural look much more.

What do you think of Khloe's look, love it or hate it?
