Recreate Blake Lively's sexy, smoky eye from last night's CHANEL "Fête d'Hiver" Benefit with this step-by-step guide, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Angela Levin:

"I was inspired by Blake's stunning CHANEL diamond Camelia brooch. I wanted her eyes to be dark and sexy, but the rest of her face to be light and fresh. She's young and sexy and wears a smoky eye so well!," says Levin.

On the Face
Levin used CHANEL Lift Lumiere Fluid Makeup in Beige all over Blake's face, and set it with CHANEL Poudre Cristalline Translucent Powder. On her cheeks, she dusted on CHANEL Blush Duo in Tweed Rose.

For the Eyes
For her eyes, Levin used the bronze and sand shades from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Variations, and CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Magic Night, a deep plum shade, to add dimension in the crease. She then lined the upper and lower lashes with CHANEL Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Black Shimmer, and finished the eyes with three coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir-Black.

On the Lips
Finally, Levin created a soft pink lip with CHANEL Rouge Allure in Mythic, a sheer nude, then topped with a bit of CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Ming.

Pictured here at The CW "UpFront" conference in NYC, the leading ladies of "Gossip Girls" each rocked a very different 'do for the event.

I'm partial to Leighton Meester's newly lightened locks, but Jessica Szohr's long, loose waves are also a favorite. Taylor Momsen and Blake Lively look great as well, but it just seems like they walked off set. There's nothing terribly exciting about either hairstyle. (In my opinion, anyway!)

Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr proves that playing with your hair texture can yield as dramatic a result as changing your color. One day Jessica's voluminous and straight, and another she's perfectly coiled. With each style having its own unique appeal and overall effect.
