Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj went pink head to pink head at the 2011 American Music Awards.

While Katy opted for a slicked back raspberry coif with irridescent embellishments combed through (she later switched things up with another updo on stage), Nicki rocked a set of Pepto-pink curls, matching them to her signature pink pout for good (girly) measure.

I really love the 50s-rock feel of Katy's 'doo-wop, so I'm giving this one to her.
