Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, a Chicago-based firm, plans to fetch an estimated $12,000+ for a tuft of Elvis' iconic coif at auction next week. Of course, it isn't just any old clump of hair— this particular piece is claimed to be from The King's highly publicized pre-army cut in 1958.

Is it just me, or is the notion of purchasing the 51-year-old trimmings of a deceased celebrity a bit... Curious?
