When it came to the hair, adornments were bountiful on messy ponytails, dreadlocked updos and low slung buns.

But the nails, oh the nails! In an interview with Style.com, Chanel creative director of makeup Peter Philips explained, “fingertips were treated to a few coats of a golden lacquer fittingly named Diwali “in homage to the famous ‘celebration of light’ that takes place in India.”

Sources say it is scheduled to hit shelves this summer and will no doubt, cause a frenzy among fashionistas alike.
