Dianna Agron turned heads in a fresh, feminine take on the '50s rockabilly style at Sunday's Grammy Awards. Below, celebrity stylist Adir Abergel shares the steps he took to achieve the look: "I started by applying Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse to the roots (on dry hair) and Fekkai Advanced Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum at the ends. Then, I blow-dried the hair, using my hands, until it was completely dry. Using 1 1/4" curling iron, I then curled the hair and pinned it in place starting at hairline all the way to the crown. Next, I pulled the back of the hair into a sleek chignon at the crown of the head. To finish the look, I took the pin curls out and backcombed the roots, in order to add volume for the pompadour effect. To keep the backcombing in place, I sprayed Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray at the roots. Next, I smoothed the top of hair into place. Finally, I applyed Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax on the ends of Dianna's hair to create some separation, then sprayed Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray to set." |
