Want to recreate Anne’s modern updo for your next special event? It’s not as hard as it looks. Just follow these three simple steps, courtesy of celebrity stylist Kevin Mancuso.

Step One: Create Support

Distribute a medium-hold mousse, such as Nexxus Mousse Plus, on smooth, dry hair to help maintain and support the structure of the style. Then, create a deep side part and pull the top section of hair to one side, while you work on the back section.

Step Two: Get Twisted

Next, twist hair back into a basic French Twist and secure with bobby pins. Then pull the front section back, sweeping over the twist and pinning in at the top of the twist, while leaving the ends loose.

Step Three: Set & Shine

Set your style with a finishing spray with a strong hold, like Nexxus Maxximum, to keep your locks in place all night long.
