I'm generally the first to defend Mary-Kate's unique sense of style, but an inner tube headband is... beyond me.

Taken right off the Marc Jacobs A/W '08 runway, this furry little ring graced MK's head at a recent charity event in New York City.

I know headbands have made quite the comeback recently, but this attempt is neither flapper-inspired nor hippy chic. The color and size of the band just seem to overwhelm Mary-Kate's fair locks and delicate face.

Do you think this look was spot-on, or a major miss?
