Color Chameleons

From Christina Ricci to Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen, many celebs are taking a walk on the lighter side this season. And why not? It's a great way to switch things up, and can make your entire wardrobe (and makeup bag) feel brand new.

If you too are curious to see if blondes have more fun, just be sure to:

  • Consult a professional stylist to find the
perfect shade. Touch-ups can be done at-home if necessary, but the initial
experiment should be handled with care.

  • Compensate with color. Use a brighter blush, or
a rich shade of eyeshadow, to avoid looking washed-out.

Protect and condition. Chemical processing can leave your hair feeling weak and dehydrated, so stock-up on a thermal styling guard, UV-shielding hair care products, and an intensive weekly treatment.
