In the case of ‘hard water’ there are a couple things you can do. First, use a water purifier and wash your hair less frequently. And second, it’s really important to look for shampoos and conditioners that contain ingredients that won’t strip hair of its natural oils— like parabens or SLS. These ingredients will only make hair even weaker, so opt for natural ingredients that strengthen and soften the cuticle of hair from the inside out.
