Last night's MTV Video Music Awards suprised us with a number of new looks, including: (usually prim and proper) Leighton Meester's tousled tresses, Ashley Greene's lengthy, top-heavy coif, Solange Knowles' short cut, and Kristen Stewart's '20s-inspired bob.
