Louise Roe Named Glamour Fashion Editor-at-Large

Posted by kgranero 5:43pm GMT

Louise Roe is about to reach a lot more "Janes."

Glamour Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive announced today that the "Plain Jane" host, red carpet regular and fashion show/magazine contributor has been named Glamour's new Fashion Editor-at-Large, explaining that Louise "will provide regular celebrity fashion commentary in the print edition, host style videos on glamour.com, contribute to the site's Slaves to Fashion blog, and appear on television as a style authority on behalf of Glamour."

"I'm thrilled to be joining Glamour as Fashion Editor at Large, this is honestly a dream job for me," says Louise Roe. "Having started my career working in the magazine industry, it's awesome to be working with such a huge, brilliant publication in a range of ways including print, online and TV. We've got some exciting projects up our sleeves. Bring on fashion week!," said Louise.

Are you as excited about this new development as I am?

Amanda Seyfried for Glamour March 2012

Posted by kgranero 3:07pm GMT

Glamour is shaking things up for its March 2012 issue, featuring a much roomier cover (that still manages to sneak in the essentials: Sex, Beauty, Shopping, Guys and Gossip) graced by Amanda Seyfried.

You'll also notice the actress (looking flirty in a floral Pierre Balmain top, Hudson jeans and Candy Ice amethyst and diamond earrings) is pictured in the bathroom, whereas Glamour cover backgrounds are usually kept solid.

Check out more photos from the cover spread (including a really glamorous swim shot) below, and find out what Amanda had to say about her latest love, working with Justin Timberlake and more at glamour.com.

Battle of the Briefs: Rachel McAdams vs. Ashley Greene for Glamour

Posted by kgranero 2:48pm GMT

A fresh-faced (and uber flirty) Rachel McAdams graces the cover of Glamour's February 2012 issue, in which the 33-year-old actress dishes on her latest role in "Midnight in Paris," dating co-stars and what goes into styling a character:

"I love those preliminary conversations about who a character is. You try on wigs, shoes and clothes. It's preferable when it's not about looking pretty. It can get a little dull to just be cute. We talk about things like, maybe my character can't afford these Christian Louboutins. [The stylist] will say, "No one will notice." And I'm like, "Everyone knows that red-bottom shoe!"

If this cover looks familiar, it's because Ashley Greene wore a strikingly similar knicker (both stars are shown wearing Dolce & Gabbana) and tied blouse ensemble for Glamour's May 2011 cover shoot.

Which cover star looked more beautiful in D&G briefs?

See more shots from Rachel's shoot below, and check out her interview at Glamour.com.
