Dare to Wear: Jena Malone

Actress Jena Malone continued her peculiar style streak in this baby yellow and blue violin/tuxedo dress worn to the What Goes Around Comes Around Grand Opening Party in Los Angeles.

Not only did I not "get" this dress, but I felt her tan and aqua sandals proved an odd pairing.

Then again, I've had a distaste for Jena ever since I watched her verbally abuse Julia Roberts in "Stepmom" (in which she overused the look of death as exemplified above, so I might be a tad biased.

Style Showdown: Jessica Lowndes vs. Jena Malone

"90210" actress Jessica Lowndes showed off some skin in a see-through dress while out and about recently in London.

If you recall, Jena Malone was the first to create buzz when she wore the sheer shocker to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party back in February.

I wasn't crazy about the dress on either starlet, as neither of them appeared to have the confidence to pull it off (unlike, say, someone like Rihanna), but I think the dress worked better with Jessica's silky-straight strands and her black tight pairing, so I'm giving this one to her.

Who pulled off this lacy little number?

Dare to Wear: Jena Malone

"Sucker Punch" star Jena Malone (you may remember her as the bratty daughter from "Stepmom"), like many twenty-somethings, seems to be going through a major experimentation phase when it comes to style.

The actress wore a bustier and fishtail skirt creation from Juan Carlos Obando at the Warner Bros. Premiere of "Sucker Punch" in Hollywood.

While the daring duo would prove a tough sell for even the most fearless of fashionistas, Jena's seafoam-colored eyeshadow and garish stance certainly didn't help matters any.
