In case you haven't heard me say it a million times, I am obsessed with Olivia Palermo's everyday style. She's one of the few stars I look to for everyday fashion inspiration because her looks are always so put together, without seeming too contrived.
I also respect "The City" actress's tendency to wear certain add-on items (sweaters, shoes, jewelry, etc.) repeatedly, which you don't see too often. Lately (especially in the case of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week), Olivia's go-to piece of choice has been a pair of gray suede Proenza Schouler booties, which retail for about $800.
For an affordable alternative, I like the GUESS Women's Owens Ankle Boot, $138.95, endless.com.
