One Designer, Two Ways: Alice + Olivia

Singers Estelle and Corinne Bailey Rae both have similar (split) style personalities!

Estelle belted up her red and black Alice + Olivia jersey maxi for Us Weekly's 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2011 event recently in New York.

Just four days earlier, Corinne Bailey took a more casual approach to the same colorblocked style (save for the red) at a celebration for Christian Siriano's Spring Summer Collection 2012 in the same city.

While I could totally see myself rocking Corinne's downtown-chic look for a more casual/artsy affair, there's no denying Estelle worked the heck out of her dress, so I'm giving her a higher score with a little help from the diva curve.

Style Steal: Leighton Meester's Alice + Olivia Skirt

While not identical, Leighton Meester's Alice + Olivia skirt (recently worn by the actress while channeling Blair Waldorf on the "Gossip Girl" set) was the first thing that came to mind when I came across this similarly-spotted, and uber-preppy, skirt (right) at a Charlotte Russe store this past weekend. Just a quick note: the Charlotte Russe skirt runs much shorter, so it's a better fit for after-work/weekend festivities.

Style Showdown: Nicky Hilton vs. Jenna Dewan

Move over, Jamie Lee Curtis and Sigourney Weaver! Just two weeks after the "You Again" stars were spotted wearing the same David Meister dress to their film's premiere, Nicky Hilton and Jenna Dewan pulled the same stunt (only in Alice + Olivia, in two different shades) at Rochelle Gores Fredston's ARCADE Boutique fashion show.

While both ladies looked sexy in their part-cotton, part-chiffon bandage bodices, I'm going to have to give this one to Nicky for having added funky flair to her olive green dress with an oversize leopard clutch and zipper sandals. Jenna's pleather black pumps fell a bit flat against her sapphire number.

Style Showdown: Leighton Meester vs. Jessica Lowndes

Jessica Lowndes was spotted wearing a sponge-dotted Alice + Olivia skirt and a black tank at the 8th Annual BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party in Los Angeles.

Just days later, Leighton Meester wore the same skirt with a gold Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse while filming "Gossip Girl" in New York.

Leighton's gold lame top, oversize burgundy handbag and grey booties added a lot of dimension to her (or shall I say Miss Blair Waldorf's) look, so I'm giving this one to her.
