Red-Carpet Recap: 2011 ESPY Awards

Television's leading athletes had no shortage of eye candy at the 2011 ESPY Awards, which took place yesterday in Los Angeles.

Sizzling styles included those of tennis player Maria Sharapova (who showed off her girly side in a beaded and feathered Alexander McQueen dress and matching heels), Kerry Washington (who sparkled in a slinky Jenny Packham number and partially metallic pumps) and Amber Heard (who mesmerized in a sequined Vivienne Westwood sheath and satin peep-toes).

Rachel Nichols (in a leather-trimmed, turquoise Versace bodice with swirl-like cutouts in back) and Emmanuelle Chriqui (in a full-skirted, leather mini and red sandal platforms) also contributed to the red-carpet heat wave.

Trend to Try: Bronze

While gold and silver might rank higher on the medal pole, celebs like Drew Barrymore, Alexis Bledel and Maria Sharapova have been achieving winning looks with bronze.

Add a touch of glamour to your look with a bronze top or accessory, or brave a full-on bronze ensemble for rich results.

Dare to Wear: Maria Sharapova

Talk about dressing to fit the occasion! Tennis pro Maria Sharapova turned heads by wearing a headless baby tee at Evian's Baby on the Inside Advertisement Promotion in New York.

At least the baby was wearing a diaper, as to not leak all over Maria's fab sequined 3.1 Phillip Lim cropped shorts.
