Anne Hathaway (and Smurfette) for Harper's Bazaar August 2011

Posted by babu 1:48pm GMT

Say hello to the "Carrie Bradshaw" of cartoon characters...

Harper's Bazaar is celebrating the upcoming release of "The Smurfs," which hits theaters July 29, by dedicating an entire fashion spread to leading lady Smurfette in its August 2011 issue.

In the playful spread, produced by Harper's Bazaar features/special projects director Laura Brown, Smurfette is accessorized to the nines in designer goods from Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana (below left), Marc Jacobs (below right) and Louis Vuitton.

The August issue, which stars Anne Hathaway as its cover girl (looking radiant in a silk chiffon Gucci gown), also boasts a Fall Fashion Guide and a feature on Coco Chanel's Secret Life.

Christina Hendricks for Harper's Bazaar November 2010

Posted by babu 3:05pm GMT

Warning! Dangerous curves ahead!

The voluptuous Christina Hendricks is busting out (no pun intended) on newsstands later this month as Harper's Bazaar's November cover girl.

Inside the issue, the "Mad Men" actress can be found modeling a variety of Joan Harris-meets-Don Draper styles (think sleek menswear and feminine accents) compiled of drool-worthy designs from Stella McCartney, Valentino, Dior, YSL and Dolce & Gabbana, not to mention a bevy of jewels from Cartier and Chopard.

Jennifer Aniston for Harper's Bazaar September 2010

Posted by babu 4:30pm GMT

I could barely believe my eyes when I first glanced at the cover shoot images from the Harper's Bazaar September 2010 issue.

Not only does Jen Aniston look breathtaking (and not a day over 20) in her silk Versace gown on the outside (newsstand cover), but on the inside, Jen captivates in a homage to Barbra Streisand, in which she recreates some of the legendary actress's most notable on-screen looks while modeling the latest goods from designers like Gianfranco Ferré (below left) and Moschino (below right).

Dare to Wear: Anna Plunkett

Posted by babu 12:33pm GMT

Is tulle the new faux fur?! Romance Was Born designer Anna Plunkett wrapped up her look with a coat made of turquoise and purple tulle at the Harper's Bazaar "Wonderland" Exhibition.

Every time I look at this photo, I can't help but think of the character Sulley from "Monsters Inc."

Would you dare to wear this look?
