Dior Claims "Zero Tolerance" and Suspends John Galliano

Posted by babu 11:26am GMT

Brace yourselves!

According to reports, Christian Dior has suspended creative director John Galliano pending an investigation into AFP reports suggesting that the designer was apprehended in Paris last night for assault, following an altercation in the city's Marais district during which he allegedly verbally abused a couple while under the influence.

While full details of the "attack" are still surfacing and therefore somewhat conflicted, this is what was reported today on Vogue.co.uk:

'Dior affirms with the utmost conviction its policy of zero tolerance towards any anti-Semitic or racist words or behaviour," Dior chief executive Sidney Toledano said in a statement. "Pending the results of the inquiry, Christian Dior has suspended John Galliano from his responsibilities.'

According to TMZ.com, 'Galliano's lawyer Stephane Zerbib told AFP the designer "formally denies the accusations of anti-Semitism made against him.'

Quick-Change Artist: Heidi Klum Works the Runway and Red Carpet

Posted by babu 10:30am GMT

Heidi Klum proves you can take the girl off the runway, but you can't take the runway out of the girl when it comes to modeling multiple looks in a single day -- and looking great in them all.

At NY Fashion Week, Heidi made a quick change into four looks in under four hours. From the studded jacket she wore to the launch of her new baby-clothes line, to her strut down the runway in a red John Galliano gown for the Heart's Truth fashion show to raise awareness of heart disease in women, Heidi is always "in" when it comes to her style.
