Dare to Wear: Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi

Not one to be ignored, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi commanded attention in a heavily studded, partially sheer bodice and metallic pumps that were about two sizes too big while hosting a recent party at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas.

While the "Jersey Shore" star gave her red-carpet look two lips up, I can't help but think her skin-tight style, which looked like it was covered in little scales, deserved at least one thumb down.

Perhaps the only thing louder than Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's loud personality is her style.

The "Jersey Shore" star's most recently turned heads during a visit on the "Late Show With David Letterman," to which she wore a bright red dress, ruffled dress and what appeared to be a faux fur shawl.

While I don't hate the dress, I would've liked to have seen the reality TV star opt for something better suited for her body shape. The heavy ruffle detail also competes with the shawl and her statement shoes.

Upgrade: Snooki Debuts Fringe Benefits

Onlookers were exposed to a more glamorous version of the usually legging and t-shirt clad Snooki at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards.

The "Jersey Shore" star, who made her debut as a Pickle Queen for Halloween (see her costume here), appeared fit for a flamenco dance in a beautifully beaded bustier and fringe skirt combo.

Could it be that the reality TV phenomenon is gearing up to follow Mike "The Situation's" footsteps on "Dancing With the Stars?!"

Now THIS is what you call getting yourself into a pickle.

While everyone else was dressing up as Snooki for Halloween, the original "Jersey Shore" star (who often proclaims her love of pickles on the show) was busy reigning as Pickle Queen at Jet Nightclub at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Thank goodness she told them to hold the pickles and ketchup.

Style Showdown: "The Hills" vs. "Jersey Shore"

Reality TV stood its ground at the MTV Video Music Awards, thanks to a handful of leggy stars from "The Hills" and "Jersey Shore."

In true "Hills" cast fashion, Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth sported sparkly sensations, while "Jersey Shore" girls Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola opted for paisley prints.

I prefer "The Hills" girls' styles, especially when it comes to Stephanie Pratt's colorful Nicole Miller maxi dress.

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was spotted wearing a butterfly-embossed zip-up fleece, peace-sign bearing shorts and non-matching knee socks while en route to the gym in Seaside Heights.

She topped off her "eclectic" ensemble with a doo-rag (I'm assuming to keep her hair intact while working out).

Style Steal: Snooki's Sequined Stunner

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi attended the "Grown Ups" premiere in New York last night wearing a multicolored, sequined dress that bore a striking resemblance to one that recently caught my eye at a Lipsy London event in New York.

While Snooks pulled out all the stops with equally blinding peep-toes, I'd recommend opting for a nude or black shoe.

That Snooki is one shady lady!

The "Jersey Shore" star rocked a pair of $350 Jason Burke sunglasses while out and about in Miami yesterday.

At several points, she was spotted pulling the studded peepers away from her face, probably because that's the only way she could see.

Other celeb fans of view-obstructing sunglasses include Kanye West, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

MTV's "Jersey Shore" crew has been all over the magazine circuit lately receiving makeovers. Judging by this photo of Snooki, it doesn't look like any of them (including one replicating Kim Kardashian in Life & Style) stuck.

The reality TV star, infamous for her tough exterior (the girl got punched in the face by a guy on the show), guest hosted at Opium at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Florida over the weekend wearing a zebra tunic covered in lace and faux fur coat (read: at one point, she was even caught "fist-pumping" on the red carpet).

I just hope that hood left enough room for her pouf.
