While silver dresses were a big hit in early fall (check out the platinum streak at the 2009 MTV Awards), it seems red carpet stars are digging gold lately.
Rihanna’s dangerous dagger dress from the The Blonds may have set off the trend in late November, but Eva Longoria Parker toned down glinty gold in a more muted dress just a few weeks ago.
But my favorite (and most wearable) Midas touch is Katy Perry’s gold Chloe barrel bag and adorable coordinated mustard knit hat in London yesterday.
