The 9th Annual Tribeca Film Festival continues to yield great celeb styles.

Some of the latest celeb looks to surface include those of Jessica Alba (in a breezy Chloe gown), Kate Hudson (rocking a Louis Vuitton LBD) and Amanda Peet (looking rather frumpy in an unsupported frock).

Downgrade: Amanda Peet's Winter Whites

Maybe in “2012” we all end up wearing white? Could that be why actress Amanda Peet showed up at the last two premieres of her futuristic action flick (“2012”) in white dresses?

Personally, I don’t believe there are any fashion rules that can’t be broken (with style), but her summery dresses worn well after Labor Day are such odd choices.

Peet’s strapless dress, worn in warmer L.A., is not the worst look, considering the location of the premiere. And the turquoise necklace is actually a nice touch for the dress’s style and plays up her blue eyes.

But in Berlin a few days later, the same fashion formula of "white dress plus colorful necklace" doesn’t work as well. The tentlike shape of the dress does nothing for Peet’s pretty perfect figure, and the dark tights clash with the vibe of the frilly dress. Better luck in the future, Amanda.
