This week was all about "Sex and the City 2." And the winners are...

Sarah Jessica Parker rocking a neon-yellow Valentino Couture chiffon number at the New York premiere. While simple, the color and cut of this dress really stood out on the premiere carpet.

SJP (yes, I was so impressed I decided to feature her twice) in a black Alexander McQueen gown at the U.K. premiere. This dramatic dress, paired with some heavy headwear designed by Philip Treacy, was as breathtaking as it was bold.

Kim Cattrall in a a gold Naeem Khan dress at the New York premiere. As if this gown didn't pack enough heat, allover firework-like detailing gave it a little extra spark.

Cynthia Nixon wearing a black Carolina Herrera gown at the New York premiere. While I would've liked to have seen Cynthia experiment with a little color, this gown was no doubt a classic.

Kristin Davis in a metallic Norman Norell number. Kristin radiated in this sequined stunner, which took me back to the "SATC" episode in which her character proved a sexpot in Vegas casino couture.

Red-Carpet Recap: "Sex and the City 2" Premiere - U.K. (After-Party)

The fab four slipped out of their "Sex and the City 2" U.K. Premiere fashions and into something a bit more manageable for the after-party.

For the most part, each actress's after-party style resembled her corresponding character's style in the film. Sarah Jessica Parker channeled a boho vibe with a breezy blue gown, Kristin Davis looked like a domestic goddess in a full-skirted, hunter-green cocktail dress, Kim Cattrall rocked a city-slick stunner and Cynthia Nixon wore a basic black-and-white sheath.

Red-Carpet Recap: "Sex and the City 2" Premiere - UK

Now THIS is more like it! Sarah Jessica Parker and company stepped out for the "Sex and the City 2" premiere in the UK today, at which I was excited to see the stars working what SJP might call "the sparkle."

SJP killed it in a dramatic Alexander McQueen gown, which she accessorized with some heavy (and highly-anticipated) head gear (created by Philip Treacy). As in the case of the New York premiere, Kristin Davis came in close second wearing a metallic Norman Norell number.

While I was expecting a tad more sparkle from Kim Cattrall, she managed to dazzle nonetheless in a classic sweetheart gown with a jeweled brooch at the waist. I was dissappointed to see Cynthia Nixon trail behind (as she did at the New York premiere) in a sky blue gown with minimal detailing, especially since her character went through such a style transformation in the film.

Red-Carpet Recap: "Sex and the City 2" Premiere in New York

It's finally here! The much-anticipated "Sex and the City 2" premiere took place in New York Monday night and, after personally speaking to SATC2 stylist Patricia Field about what's been deemed the franchise's most fashionable feat yet, it appears the cast saved all the drama for the big screen this time around.

While I wasn't exactly disappointed to see a lack of acorns abound, I felt the stars' bright and shiny sheaths fell somewhat flat.

My favorite look had to be that of SJP, who wore a neon yellow Valentino Couture chiffon number. The rest of the fab four consisted of Cynthia Nixon in Carolina Herrera, Kristin Davis in a hot pink Jean Desses gown and Kim Cattrall rocking a plunging Naeem Khan number.

Style Showdown: Kim Cattrall vs. Miley Cyrus

Spoiler alert!! Kim Cattrall and Miley Cyrus were spotted posing together in the same Matthew Williamson sequined dress (and tall brown boots) while filming for "Sex and the City 2" in New York. I'm guessing Miley will play one of Kim's (aka Samantha's) clients in the upcoming film (if they weren't smiling and air-kissing in other shots, I might suspect this was an accidental, and embarrassing, run-in).

While I really love this dress, I'm horrified by BOTH actresses' necklace picks (the allover beading and studded belts in their ensembles make enough of a statement). And Miley's gloves? Eek!

Minus the heinous accessories, I'm giving this one to Kim. At least her style doesn't scare me.
