Red-Carpet Recap: CoverGirl Cosmetics' 50th Anniversary Party

Fresh faces and flirty frocks were in full effect at CoverGirl Cosmetics' 50th Anniversary Party.

Some of my favorite looks included those of Drew Barrymore (who popped in a tangerine Jil Sander gown), new spokesperson Taylor Swift (who sparkled in a sequined Mark & James by Badgley Mischka LBD), and Brittany Snow (who created intrigue in a marbled, asymmetrical dress from Asos and neutral platforms).

Also joining the celebrity ranks were Dania Ramirez (who sizzled in a bustier bodice and Christian Louboutin peep-toes) and Sophia Bush (who was glowing in a champagne-colored Pamella Roland sheath and strappy, metallic sandals.

Red-Carpet Recap: Ninth Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball

Celebs looked beautiful at the Ninth Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, hosted by Rebecca Gayheart and husband Eric Dane.

Some of my favorite looks included those of Sophia Bush (in a classic, champagne-colored gown) and Eva Mendes, who looked like a Grecian goddess in a white gown outlined with gold beading.

Red-Carpet Recap: P.S. Arts Presents The Bag Lunch

Stars like Katy Perry, Malin Akerman, Sophia Bush and Shiri Appleby looked adorable in a variety of playful cocktail dresses at the recent P.S. Arts Presents The Bag Lunch event in Los Angeles.

I especially loved Malin's edgy-glam ensemble, which she topped off with funky shades and gladiator heels.

Celebs like Sophia Bush, Jessica Lowndes, Avril Lavigne and the Hilton sisters came together for a cause at the 17th Annual Race to Erase MS event in Century City, California.

My favorite looks included those of Sophia (in a safari-print Monique Lhuillier gown) and Jessica (who rocked a multi-tiered cocktail dress).

Fashion Week Seats Heating Up

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2010 is six days in and full of fashion-forward stars. Among yesterday's around-the-clock a-listers:

Annalynne McCord, Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg at the Jill Stuart show.

Julia Stiles, Kristen Bell and Michelle Williams at the Tracy Reese show.

Susan Sarandon, Demi Moore and Brooke Shields at the Donna Karan show.

Dare to Wear: Sophia Bush

Kids, cover your eyes! The usually polished, and considerably covered, Sophia Bush was just caught doing a nude scene, and it wasn't on her TV show "One Tree Hill."

The actress wore a see-through lace mini from the Max Azria Fall 2009 collection to Hollywood Life's Sixth Annual Hollywood Style Awards. Not only does this dress appear to be cutting off her circulation (maybe it's part of a new dieting tactic?), but it's a far cry from the feminine (and flowy) blouses and gowns that everyone's become accustomed to (and have enjoyed) seeing her in.

She's also pictured kissing the talented designer (who happens to be one of my favorites) at the event, so maybe this falls somewhere under the law "Don't bite the head of the designer that dresses you"?!
