I’m Obsessed With: Lace Insets

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what a little lace can add to any look. Too much lace and your style is too frou-frou; but with just a touch of the sheer fabric, a black dress (or white one, as seen on Whitney Port this past week) takes on a certain sexy yet demure appeal.

While actress Gretchen Mol's dress used just a touch of lace to play up her decolletage , "Glee" star Dianna Agron turns up the volume of her LBD with both a lace bustier and wild feathers.

Eva Longoria Parker must have been a very good girl this year! Did Santa deliver the killer over-the-knee boots, saucy fedora and the gorgeous luxe bag that she wore to watch husband Tony Parker, of the San Antonio Spurs, play basketball in NYC last night?

While her OTK boots and fedora are two of Fall’s hottest trends, a NAVY bag (hers is a pricey Hermes “Birkin” style) looks set to take over as the next new must-have accessory.

Trend to Try: Get Shorties

OTK (over-the-knee) boots may be the newest rage in footwear, but short ankle booties are still a front-runner for must-have fall accessories.

On the set of “Gossip Girl,” Taylor Momsen (center) and crew all showed their allegiance to the “shootie” while filming a street scene.

And proof that the new shoe is not just for fictional fashionable TV characters, Momsen showed off another version of her fave footwear off-duty on the same day.

I’m Obsessed With…Rihanna's Gauntlet Gloves

Extreme runway style never translates well into real life. But celebrities get a pass on this rule since stars like Rihanna can make the oddest trends lust-worthy like the Karl Lagerfeld gauntlet gloves the singer wore to the designer's namesake show at Paris Fashion Week.

I first fantasized about super sized gloves when I spotted them on the Proenza Schouler runway last year. I was hesitant to fully embrace the trend then, but now that Mr. Lagerfeld and Rihanna have both approved the look, I just may go for it! [No, that is not a well-dressed girl pirate in your locale CVS...it's just me, your obsessed All The Looks Insider in Lagerfeld gloves]

Oh, and don't you just love how Karl made the look so "Karl" by chopping off the fingers? I'm sure Lindsay Lohan is dying to steal those things off of Rihanna right now.

Stars Soften the Look of Tough Leather

Rocker Joan Jett's leather looks seem to be all the rage this fall. Maybe it has something to do with "Twilight" film star Kristen Stewart playing Jett in the upcoming rock-and-roll biopic about Jett's band The Runaways.

Personally, I've never been into motorcycle fashion, but when celebrities Kristin Cavallari and Rumer Willis showed up within days of each in a softer version of the moto-chic fashion, I converted to a hard-core fan.

Tip: Soften black leather with a gentle buff or cream-colored top or dress to pull this look off for the red carpet.

I’m Obsessed With…Shakira's Lace-Up Boots

I'm over the moon for Shakira's black lace-up platform boots. They also seem to be the singer's go-to fave shoes since she was spotted in them (with jeans) in London on September 26 and again in Madrid (this time with a plaid tunic) on September 28 to promote her new album "La Loba."

These boots, with their comfy platform and trendy peep-toe detail are so deliciously chic but oh-so-wearable too since they work with everything from boy-friend jeans to skinnies to almost any contemporary knee-length dress in your closet if you add tights.

Luckily, a few key words typed into the cool clothes search engine ShopStyle.com yielded lots of look-alikes for Shakira's must-have fall boots.
