Aside from debuting a new 'do (or, as I'd like to refer to it, a major don't), Vanessa Hudgens looked like she was wearing a swimsuit cover-up (designed by Farah Khan) at the "Captain America: The First Avenger" premiere in Hollywood.

The actress topped off her beach look with matching, camel suede platforms.

Move over leopard!

Celebs are taking a sleeker approach to animal prints with python dresses and accessories.

When wearing such a powerful print, I advise sticking to one main or accent piece (a la Courteney Cox), as opposed to piling on the scales (a la past DTW contenders J.Lo and Vanessa).

Spotted: My Breezy Armani Exchange Maxi

I was recently sorting through some pictures of Vanessa Hudgens when, to my pleasant surprise, I came across this photo of her and someone who appears to be one of her good friends wearing the same Armani Exchange maxi that, after much anticipation (and hinting), I received as a birthday gift a few weeks back.

I'd been on a hunt for a breezy, printed maxi dress ever since I spotted Emmanuelle Chriqui wearing one by Diane Von Furstenberg on a past episode of "Entourage" (see it here) and, between its leafy, resort-like print and sexy, crisscross halter neckline, the A|X style fit the bill.

White Suits: Trend or Foe?

One by one, celebs are stomping out the "Don't wear white after Labor Day" fire with a variety of breezy, white dresses and, for the brave fashionistas, business suits.

While I think a crisp, white suit is a great way to look sophisticated in the spring/summer months, I would steer clear of shiny materials (a la Vanessa Hudgens' ensemble), and arm myself with a serious stash of detergent wipes.

Is white the new black, or should these suits go back on the rack? Weigh in below!

This Week's Fab Five

This week was all about mixing things up. And the winners are...

Dita Von Teese in Jenny Packham at Perez Hilton’s "Blue Ball" Birthday Celebration. Allover multi-size sequins added a fresh touch to this classic cobalt gown, which is my favorite of the five.

Malin Akerman in Vivienne Westwood at the Vivienne Westwood LA Store Opening. While somewhat simple in design, this graphic-print sheath oozed sex appeal. I only wish that Malin had opted for a sleeker shoe (her peep-toe platforms proved a bit clunky for the rest of her look).

Abbie Cornish in Alberta Ferretti at the "Sucker Punch" premiere in London. The actress, who appears to be on a roll lately, looked nothing short of enchanting in this whimsical, gardenesque gown.

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu at the 2011 Green Auction. A white underskirt added an element of suprise to this otherwise straightforward, full-skirted dress, which Diane accessorized with tribal earrings and satin pumps.

Vanessa Hudgens in Alberta Ferretti at the "Sucker Punch" premiere in London. While Vanessa has had no shortage of red carpet mishaps as of late, she fully redeemed herself in this romantic, jewel-encrusted gown, which boasted a sexy open back.

Is that Nicole Richie??!!

In what appears to be the latest case of stolen celeb identity, Vanessa Hudgens wore a snakeskin slip and matching, fringed kimono accessorized with a hippie headband and chained handbag while hosting an event at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas.

As if her Woodstock-worthy look weren't cluttered enough, she toppped it off with multiple chains and an ankle bracelet.

Downgrade: Vanessa Hudgens Bulks Up In Beige

Vanessa Hudgens looked beautifully bohemian in a foiled Jenny Packham gown at the "Sucker Punch" premiere in Los Angeles.

Two days (and what looked like 20 lbs.) later, she'd already begun to unravel at the Nylon Magazine 12th Anniversary Issue Party, where she appeared sloppy in an ill-flattering slip-dress and cardigan combo accessorized with sheer, black socks and t-strap sandals.
