I'm not sure about food cravings, but there's no denying singer and mom-to-be Jessica Simpson (who's been sporting everything from leopard jackets and handbags to tunics and dresses) has had a serious appetite for animal prints as of late.

Who let the dogs out?!

From soft swans to riley rottweilers, celebs like Katy Perry, Liv Tyler and Ginnifer Goodwin are reshaping the animal-print trend by incorporating full-form animals and animal features into their everyday styles.

While I'm all for animal advocacy, especially when it comes to fashion, I can't help but think these carnal creations belong in captivity.

Rule Breakers or Trend Makers: Nicky Hilton's Double Duty Coat

You know, when I was 13, my best friend and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to wear the EXACT same puffy-sleeve, blue-stripe “power” shirt with an attached, maroon, http://www.mylifetime.com/all-the-looks/best-looks?filters=tid:381
" target="_blank">paisley, pussy-cat bow tie for our school pictures (yes, that was “in” during the “Breakfast Club”-era eighties). And, today, we laugh (hard) about it.

Though they both seem to be getting a giggle out of being matching cat ladies for the day, I don’t think this is a trend that will be catching on –unless you’re a 13-year-old! And while the coats may be a distraction, make sure to scan down to check out Nicky’s killer Christian Louboutin supple leather boots. MUST. HAVE. NOW.

Work to Weekend: Claudia Schiffer's Leopard Look

When it comes to the work week, by Friday we are often looking for something that is a little more relaxed but still makes us looks pulled-together and chic. To the rescue is this loose leopard dress model Claudia Schiffer wore to a Vogue & Burberry party for Fashion’s Out in London on September 12.

By pairing the wild print with opaque (never sheer) black tights and simple solid boots, it’s the perfect outfit to make the Friday fly by in style and comfort. After 5, add a stained red lip and chunky gold cuff, and head straight from the office to the bar to get your weekend party started early.
